Challenges
We got this project at a very challenging time when the company's CFO was ready to step down and few days left out. We were supposed to step into his shoes and handle all the important monthly tasks he used to do and to learn all the things in very short span of time. This includes managing and making sure everything runs smoothly. On top of that, we were also feeling the pressure from investors who want to see detailed financial reports more frequently. To manage all this, we prepared a detailed Excel financial model. It was a big responsibility for us to handle the finances of such a big company, but we accepted the challenge!
Solution & Results
Knowledge Transfer:
Conducting 3-4 intensive calls with the outgoing CFO allowed for a comprehensive understanding of monthly procedures and tasks.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP):
Drafted detailed SOPs for every monthly task. These SOPs served as a guide for each operation, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Monthly Checklist:
Developed a comprehensive monthly checklist encompassing all required tasks.
Efficient Financial Model:
Revamped the Excel financial model for enhanced efficiency. We aimed for preparation of financial model and other workings that has a lot automations.

The SOPs and checklists provided a structured approach, granting our team enhanced control over monthly procedures
